Book by December 31 — sign a rental agreement and leave your deposit — and you keep this year's pricing on weekday, weekend-daytime and Friday-evening bookings, even for an event in 2027.
Saturday evenings are priced at 2027 rates.

Private events for up to 45 guests
Your own room, private bartender, A/V and music. Reach the beverage minimum and there is no room fee.

Simple math, no room fee
20 guests × 2 cocktails × $11 = $440 in beverage sales. That clears the $350 Small-Group minimum, so there is no room fee. Drinks your guests buy themselves count toward the minimum too.

What counts toward the beverage minimum?
Qualifying beverage sales before gratuity count, including drinks the host pays for, drinks served on tickets and drinks guests buy for themselves. Posted drink prices include sales tax.
Food fees, add-ons, gratuity and special-order beer, wine or other alcohol do not count. If qualifying beverage sales fall short, the difference is billed to the host as a room fee.
How do deposits work?
Ready Room: 50% of the beverage minimum. Main Tasting Room: 50% of the Total Guarantee. The deposit holds your date and is credited to your final bill. Any unused portion is refunded to the original payment method within 10 business days.
Using a guest-paid bar in the Ready Room? If your guests’ qualifying drinks reach the minimum, you get back whatever remains of your deposit after any charges owed by the host, including fees or add-ons.
What if we need to cancel?
Ready Room: more than 72 hours before the event, full deposit refund; more than 48 hours through 72 hours, 50% refund; 24 through 48 hours, no refund; under 24 hours, the full beverage minimum is charged.
Main Tasting Room: more than 4 weeks before the event, full deposit refund; 3 to 4 weeks, 50% refund; 24 hours to under 3 weeks, no refund; under 24 hours, the full Total Guarantee is charged.
Can we bring food?
Yes. Bring your own caterer or order delivery. A cleanup fee applies whenever food is served: Ready Room $25 for 2026 events or $30 for 2027 events; Main Tasting Room $50.
Can we bring beer, wine or other alcohol?
No outside alcohol is allowed anywhere on the property, including the parking lot, backyard and vehicles.
Special-order beer, wine or other alcohol may be available by advance request. It can be billed to the host or purchased individually by guests. These products are intended to complement, not replace, Sturgeon Spirits beverages and do not count toward the beverage minimum. All alcohol must be purchased and served by Sturgeon Spirits.
How do gratuity and drink tickets work?
A 20% gratuity is added to host-paid beverages, including drinks served on tickets and host-paid special-order alcohol. Guests buying their own drinks tip as they choose. There is no gratuity on rental fees, room fees, add-ons or unused tickets.
Drink tickets are $11 each and may be used for one standard cocktail or one zero-alcohol cocktail. Tickets are settled with the host at the end of the event. Unused tickets are non-refundable and expire when the event ends.
How much time do we get?
Ready Room: 3 hours for weekday and weekend-daytime events, or 4 hours for weekend evenings, plus 30 minutes before and after for setup and teardown. Weekend-daytime events must end by 3 p.m.
Main Tasting Room: up to 6 event hours. Friday and Saturday buyouts include 1 hour before and after for setup and teardown; other packages include 30 minutes. Day-Before Setup is available for $200 for up to 3 hours while the distillery is closed to the public.
Can we add more time?
Ready Room: $100/hour for 2026 events or $125/hour for 2027 events, billed in 30-minute increments with advance approval.
Main Tasting Room: $150/hour for Afternoon Access, Standard Sunday and Off-Hours; $200/hour for Friday or Saturday buyouts, subject to staff availability. Afternoon Access has a hard stop so the distillery can open to the public.
