The Ready Room is a private event space inside Sturgeon Spirits for showers, birthdays, rehearsal dinners, meetings and gatherings of up to 45 guests.
Your event gets its own room and bartender. Reach the beverage minimum and there is no room fee.

Hosting 20 people for a Friday evening? If each guest averages two $11 cocktails, beverage sales reach $440.
That clears the $350 Small-Group minimum, so there is no room fee.

Private Event FAQ
What counts toward the beverage minimum?
Qualifying beverage sales count toward the minimum, whether the drinks are paid for by the host, used with drink tickets or purchased directly by guests. Posted drink prices include sales tax.
Food fees, add-ons, gratuity and special-order beer, wine or other alcohol do not count toward the minimum. If qualifying beverage sales fall short, the difference is charged as a room fee.
How does the deposit work?
Ready Room reservations require a deposit equal to 50% of the beverage minimum. The deposit holds your date and is credited toward the final event balance.
If you choose a guest-paid bar and your guests' qualifying drinks reach the minimum, you receive whatever remains of the deposit after any charges owed by the host.
Any remaining refundable deposit is returned to the original payment method within 10 business days.
What if we need to cancel?
More than 72 hours before the event: full deposit refund.
More than 48 hours through 72 hours: 50% of the deposit is refunded.
24 through 48 hours: the deposit is forfeited.
Less than 24 hours: the full beverage minimum is charged.
Can we bring food?
Yes. Bring your own food, use a caterer or have food delivered.
A catering cleanup fee applies whenever food is served: $25 for 2026 events and $30 for 2027 events.
Can we bring beer, wine or other alcohol?
Outside alcohol is not allowed anywhere on the property, including the parking lot, backyard and vehicles.
Special-order beer, wine or other alcohol may be available by advance request and must be purchased and served by Sturgeon Spirits.
These products are intended to complement, not replace, Sturgeon Spirits beverages and do not count toward the beverage minimum.
How do gratuity and drink tickets work?
A 20% gratuity is added to host-paid beverages, including drinks served using drink tickets and host-paid special-order alcohol.
Guests buying their own drinks tip at their discretion. Gratuity is not added to room fees, add-ons, unused tickets or other non-beverage charges.
Drink tickets are $11 each and may be used for one standard cocktail or one zero-proof cocktail. Unused tickets are non-refundable and expire when the event ends.
How much time is included?
Weekday and weekend-daytime events include 3 event hours. Friday and Saturday evening events include 4 event hours.
Ready Room bookings also include 30 minutes before and after the event for setup and teardown.
Can we add more time?
Yes, when scheduling allows. Extra Ready Room time is $100 per hour for 2026 events and $125 per hour for 2027 events, billed in 30-minute increments.
